Easy air fried apple cinnamon chips made in minutes…

Usually around 3 o’clock in the afternoon, the hunger pangs set in, and I find myself scavenging around my kitchen looking for a snack. Unfortunately, I am a sucker for the chips and dip (I blame my husband for buying them!). Making an attempt to incorporate more fruits into my diet, I am always looking for a way to make my food more interesting. Queue the filling and delicious apple! Yes, I discovered the secret to curbing my hunger is an apple, some cinnamon, and my air fryer.

We used these delicious green apples, but any will do!

If you are looking for a quick and easy snack, these cinnamon apple chips are for you! I sliced these pretty thin, but if you have a mandolin, you will have even slices, about 1/8 inch thick. 

Sprinkle cinnamon over sliced apples before air frying.

Cinnamon Apple Chips

Equipment

  • Air fryer

Ingredients

  • Apples
  • Cinnamon

Instructions

  • Slice the apple about 1/8” thick. 
  • Sprinkle the apple with your desired amount of cinnamon. (Some people like to add a pinch of salt, I chose not to).
  • Air fry for 10-12 minutes depending on the level of crispiness you’d like. I did flip these about 6 minutes in. 

 

A perfect snack!

I like mine a bit soft in the middle and only air fried them for 10 minutes. Again, if you like crispy, cook longer.
