I am still on the hunt for the best cauliflower bites. I think I am getting closer with this spicy honey garlic recipe! Any sauce will really do for these, buffalo, bbq…These were spicy, but I just love how the honey gives it a touch of sweet, too.
This does take a little bit of prep work, but can be done relatively quick. The most time consuming part is cutting the cauliflower into florets. I have also bought it pre-cut, which is a huge time saver.
Directions:
Cut a head of cauliflower into florets and dip each piece in the batter (recipe below). Cover completely and let the excess drip off. I placed the cauliflower on parchment paper in the air fryer and cooked for 13 minutes on 375°F. I did flip them about 10 minutes in. While the cauliflower is cooking, make the sauce (also below).
Batter Recipe Ingredients:
1 cup flour
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup water
Garlic powder
Salt and pepper
Paprika
1-2 tablespoons Frank’s red hot sauce
Sauce:
In a sauce pan on low heat, mix the following:
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp of minced garlic
2 tbsp low sodium soy sauce
3 tbsp of pure honey
2 tbsp Frank’s red hot sauce
Pour the sauce over the cauliflower once it is cooked. Topped with some green onions, these were crunchy and spicy!
Would love to know…What are some of your favorite cauliflower recipes? ✨Regina
